Flu Jab Day Saturday 4th October 2025 πŸ’‰πŸ‚

πŸ“¬ Invitation letters will be posted to all eligible patients in the coming week. Please read your letter carefully, as it contains the exact time you should attend.

πŸ‘‰ Important: You must bring your letter with you on the day – You may face a long delay without it.

This year we will also have a limited number of COVID-19 vaccines available for those who would like them.

To help the clinic run smoothly:

πŸ‘• Clothing: Please wear a short or no-sleeved top so that we can access your upper shoulder quickly. Avoid jumpers, jackets or cardigans. This will help us keep queues moving and get everyone in and out as efficiently as possible.

πŸš— Parking:

  • Parking at the surgery will be extremely limited and reserved only for genuinely disabled patients.
  • All other patients should use nearby public car parks, including the one adjacent to Sainsbury’s (just a 2-minute walk from the surgery).
  • For those who must use the surgery car park, we kindly ask that you follow the one-way system:
    • Entry via Chapel Lane
    • Exit via Bedells Lane

Why this matters

Our GPs strongly recommends having the flu jab, in line with the Chief Medical Officer’s guidance. The flu can be a very serious illness, and vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones.

We kindly encourage you to attend your appointment at the practice. Last year, many patients went to pharmacies for their jab, which meant the practice faced a financial loss. By attending here, you help us continue providing this vital service for our community.
