The doctors at Wilmslow Health Centre will be happy to visit patients who genuinely find it impossible to leave their homes through ill-health or disability only. Please request the visit before 10.00am (except in emergencies). Please give the receptionist as much information as possible so that when planning our rounds we can judge the urgency of each call. Also, please ensure you leave a contact telephone number. Please use the online consultation form to provide all this information as efficiently as possible. Some visits may be made in the afternoon. Babies with temperatures can usually be safely brought to the surgery where they will be seen as soon as possible.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
