In October 2017, 51 hours of GP and Nurse time was wasted due to patients not attending their appointments. This is a significant increase from 25 hours wasted in March 2017. We thank all patients who inform receptionists of appointments that they are unable to keep thus allowing other patients a chance to receive medical attention. Patients are able to book, cancel and rearrange appointments 24-hours-a-day, on every day of the year through our on-line system.
The surgery is enforcing a successful Did Not Attend Policy. If patients do not attend an appointment at Wilmslow Health Centre, they will be sent a warning. Persistent non-attenders may be asked to register at another surgery.
If you know you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours before to offer this appointment to another patient.
