23 March 2020 was the day that everything changed.
It was the day that families, friendships and relationships were stretched or completely ripped apart, as the Prime Minister announced a nationwide lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19.
But it was also the day the whole country came together – through clapping, workouts and fundraising for the NHS – and found a new community spirit that helped us through a national crisis.
23 March is a campaign to acknowledge this significant date, champion the heroes and ideas that got us through the worst parts of pandemic and ensure that community spirit we found in crisis continues into the future, during the good times as well as the bad.
So help us acknowledge this important date:
1) Take a photo/video with the 23 March hand signal
2) Share your photo/video online using the hashtag #23March, or upload it so we can share!
3) Nominate 5 friends to go next!
