Weโre aware that some patients are currently experiencing problems when using the NHS App. We want to make it absolutely clear that:
- โ Most patients still have full access to records, prescriptions and test results.
- โ ๏ธ A small number may notice missing test results or older repeat medications that canโt be requested.
- โ This is not caused by the practice. Itโs a national issue due to NHS Englandโs systems.
- ๐ This is temporary. NHS Englandโs team are actively working on a fix, and we are chasing them daily to resolve it as quickly as possible.
โ What You Should Do
- ๐ฒ Use the official NHS App only, available from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
(you can also use the NHS Website to log in without the NHS APP). - ๐๏ธ Remove other apps from your device such as Patient Access, Evergreen Life, or Patients Know Best. These are not supported by our practice and may give incorrect or outdated information.
- ๐ If the NHS App tells you to ask us for a โLinkage Keyโ โ please ignore this message. Itโs incorrect. We cannot provide one. Verification must be done through the NHS App once NHS England has fixed the issue.
๐ Key Things to Know
- ๐ Medications authorised more than 2 years ago may not appear in the app. You can still request them using our repeat prescription form.
- ๐ฌ Some test results may show without descriptions or be hidden behind a โPatients Know Bestโ section. Please check the separate โTest Resultsโ area in the NHS App.
๐ฌ We completely understand how frustrating this is, and we share your frustration. Please be assured we are doing everything possible to escalate and resolve the issue with NHS England.
๐ ๏ธ Please donโt contact the practice about these NHS App issues. If you need medication, use the repeat prescription form on our website.
Thank you for your understanding while we await a national fix from NHS England.
